Privacy Policy
A plain-English summary of how UsefulFox handles information and the services used to operate the site.
Browser-based processing
Many UsefulFox tools run entirely in your browser. Where a tool works locally, the information you enter is processed on your device and is not intentionally sent to UsefulFox.
Local storage
UsefulFox may use browser local storage for convenience features such as Recently Used tools and favourites. This information stays in your browser unless you clear site data.
Cloudflare
UsefulFox is delivered through Cloudflare. Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled to provide privacy-focused traffic and performance information. Cloudflare describes Web Analytics as cookie-free and designed to measure page views and real-user performance without tracking visitors across sites.
Google Analytics
UsefulFox uses Google Analytics 4 to measure site usage and understand which pages and tools are useful to visitors. Google Consent Mode is configured with analytics and advertising storage denied by default, and storage-based measurement is enabled only when the relevant consent signal is granted. Limited cookieless measurement signals may be sent while consent is denied.
Google AdSense and consent
UsefulFox may use Google AdSense for advertising and site monetisation once advertising is enabled. Where advertising technologies require consent, UsefulFox will use a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) so eligible visitors can make or manage their consent choices. Google and its advertising partners may process information according to those choices and their own policies.
External services
Some tools may contact a third-party service when a feature requires it. Those services may receive the information necessary to provide the requested feature. Avoid entering sensitive information unless you are comfortable with the service described on that page.
